As a nurse and health consultant in Connecticut, my goal is to keep educating daycare teachers on the correct and safe administration of medication.

Medication Administration (Oral, Topical, Inhaler, Rectal)
Proper education on the administration of oral, topical, inhaler, and rectal medications is crucial for daycare teachers, as it directly impacts the health and safety of the children in their care. In accordance to the Child Day Care Centers & Group Day Care Home statues and regulations 19a-79-9a(2)-(A). Approval (certification) for the administration of oral, topical, inhalant and rectal medication is valid for 3 years.
EpiPen Administration Course
Learning how to properly use an EpiPen is vital in a daycare setting, as it can be a lifesaving tool in the event of a severe allergic reaction, known as anaphylaxis. Proper EpiPen training equips teachers to respond swiftly and effectively during a medical emergency. In accordance to the Child Day Care Centers & Group Day Care Home statues and regulations 19a-79-9a(2)-(A). Approval (certification) for the administration of injectable medication (EpiPen) is valid for 1 year. You must have an EpiPen trainer which will be used during the class.
