I received my practical nurse licensure in 2012 and later graduated from Gateway Community College with an Associate Degree in Nursing. I then attained my Bachelor’s Degree of science in Nursing from the University of Bridgeport.

I have gained extensive experience across various nursing specialties at several reputable institutions, including Gaylord Hospital and Hartford Healthcare, with a work history that encompasses acute care, geriatrics, and hospice care.

My interest in community health nursing developed about five years ago when I was introduced to family child care homes, group daycares, and daycare centers. This experience opened my eyes to the vital role early childhood educators play in our community and how they hold the key to our children's future and well-being. I felt compelled to join this movement, prioritizing children's health and safety.

My services are centered around training for medication administration in childcare settings across Connecticut, adhering to the regulations set forth by the Connecticut Office of Early Childhood.

The Healthy Daycares training classes reach many family child care homes, group daycares, daycare centers, and preschools throughout Connecticut.
